Real Steel / Acero Puro

Vuelve la recomendación de la semana con una película que se estrenó este viernes, y que pude disfrutar ayer en el cine. Acero puro es una buena película llena de escenas divertidas, emotivas y cargadas de acción.

La historia transcurre en un futuro no muy lejano. Charlie Kenton es un hombre cuyo éxito como boxeador terminó en el momento en el que los robots tomaron el relevo en los cuadriláteros. Cuando la vida no podía tratarle peor, le llega la noticia de la muerte de su ex-novia, y con ello la custodia de un hijo al que ni siqiuera conoce.

Tras la llegada de este niño a su vida, y poco más tarde, la de Atom, un robot por el que nadie apostaría, provocan un cambio en la manera en que Charlie ve el mundo, y sus vidas darán un cambio de 360 grados.

Acero Puro está dirigida por Shawn Levy, cuenta con unas excelentes interpretaciones de Dakota Goyo como Max Kenton, Hugh Jackman como Charlie Kenton, Evangeline Lily como Bailey Tallet y Kevin Durand como Ricky, y la banda sonora que acompaña al film a la perfección corre a cargo de Danny Elfman.

The weekly recommendation comes back with the film I enjoyed yesterday at the movie theater. Real Steel is a good movie full of funny and emotional scenes, also repleted of action.

The story takes place in a very close future. Charlie Kenton is a man whose success as a boxer ended the day robots took over from humans on the rings. When life couldn't treat him worse, he receives the notice of the death of his ex-girlfriend, and with it the custody of a son who he has never met before.

After the arrival of this kid into his life, and a little bit later, Atom's, a robot no one would bet for, cause a change in the way Charlie sees the world, and their lives will completely change.

Real Steel is directed by Shawn Levy, it counts with excelent performances of Dakota Goyo as Max Kenton, Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, Evangeline Lily as Bailey Tallet and Kevin Durand as Ricky, and the original soundtrack perfectly attached to the film is provided by Danny Elfman.
